Penyakit misterius telah menyebar ke seluruh dunia dalam sekejap. Dan mulai mengancam umat manusia, penyakit ini menyebabkan yang mati kembali hidup, layaknya zombie. Di Jepang sekumpulan anak SMA beserta seorang gurunya dan seorang gadis kecil bersama anjingnya, harus melewati kehidupan di tengah-tengah penyebaran penyakit tersebut.
